PUDSEY visits St.Mary’s Catholic Primary School

St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School had a surprise visitor today – PUDSEY!   The school had entered a competition through Lloyds Bank to win the visit and were lucky enough to be picked.

The children had not been told so it was a real surprise for them when Pudsey visited their classrooms.  They all had lots of questions for him such as ‘why do you have a patch on one eye, why are you yellow, how old are you, where do you live?’  Pudsey was great fun and even did some dancing with Class 2.

The whole school will be wearing something spotty on Friday 18th November to raise money for Children in Need, a charity which the school is pleased to support every year.   Pudsey was kind enough to leave a Pudsey headband, a Pudsey teddy and a ‘Blush’ teddy (Pudsey’s girlfriend) - these will be raffled in school on Friday.

Headteacher Mrs. Riddell said “We really enjoyed the visit from Pudsey and all the children were very excited to see him.”
