rory we chose St Josephs why don't you

The School community at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Broadstairs has today received an early Christmas present in the shape of a judgement of Outstanding as a result of a Section 48 Education Act Inspection.

The Inspection, which took place on 11th October, rigorously and robustly scrutinised all aspects of our School life including pupil progress, teaching, leadership and Catholic character and vision.

Mrs Linda Briggs, Headteacher, is absolutely delighted with the outstanding judgement which is testament to the strong and passionate collaboration of our whole school community of staff, pupils, Governors and parents who contribute daily to our community and its successes.

We would like to highlight several quotes of the Lead Inspector:-

“St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is an outstanding centre of learning in which all pupils make rapid progress”

“The extent to which pupils contribute to and benefit from the Catholic life of the school is oustanding

“The Headteacher leads the School community with a clear vision of Catholic education that benefits each and every pupil of the School”

“St Joseph’s School is outstanding in its pursuit of academic progress for all……. Pupil behaviour is excellent and they are independent learners”

“The School Development Plan is challenging and sets clear targets for all areas of the School “

The School will celebrate together at the forthcoming nativity and Carol Service events where we will give thanks for a year of sustained refection, growth and achievement.
