    St Mary's, Deal Class 5 ran a Mock Election last week

    There were 4 political parties ‘Kid’s Freedom Party’, ‘St. Mary’s Humming Birds’,  ‘Run the School’ and ‘Six Falcons’.   The children took an assembly and each party gave a presentation on their manifestos.   The whole school voted and the winning team was ‘Kid’s Freedom Party’ with 84 votes.  Part of their manifesto was ‘afternoon...

    St Mary's Cook Off

    Class 5 St. Eds 3

    Class 5 at St Mary's, Deal have been over to St. Edmund’s School in Dover to take part in some cooking workshops.  The first week they made pizza and then this week they made carrot cake.  The children made workbooks on the process of measuring ingredients, preparation methods, design, clearing up etc.   They also got a chance to create their own designs.

    Whilst the collective sporting talents and enthusiasm of St Joseph’s sports teams have never been in any doubt, we have sometimes lagged behind in the sporting sartorial stakes. However, our days in the sport kit wilderness are now over thanks to a generous donation from Mr and Mrs Vas, parents at the School.
