St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Northfleet wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our outstanding academy for September 2019. We would welcome experienced or newly-qualified teachers to consider the position.

Information about the academy
St. Joseph’s is a happy and successful one form entry Catholic primary academy with strong Home/Academy/Parish links in Northfleet near Gravesend, Kent. Since December 2014 we have been an academy within the Kent Catholic Schools' Partnership (KCSP). Our three most recent Ofsted’s were Outstanding. The academy is located in well-maintained buildings conveniently situated in a residential area near good transport links and shopping facilities, especially the A2, Ebbsfleet International Railway Station and Bluewater Shopping Centre. Our academy is committed to safeguarding.
Any successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and all other statutory requirements. The academy will carry out the necessary checks to determine if the successful candidate is barred from working with children as part of the DBS process. The academy is heavily oversubscribed and caters for pupils from five to eleven years of age. There are 244 children on roll.
The academy has a dedicated staff of a Headteacher and 8 class teachers, which includes 1 Deputy Headteacher, 1 Assistant Headteacher and a SENCo.
