Job Description

More Park is a 'Good' Catholic Primary academy, offering 'Outstanding' Catholic Education as part of the Kent Catholic Schools' Partnership.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, professional classroom teacher for KS2 from September 2019 to join a team that are continually working together, striving for excellence. This is a permanent position.

As a one form entry academy that encourages resilient, confident pupils, the role will have the potential for development into Subject Leadership or additional responsibility depending on experience; taking ownership of your CPD is encouraged, with recent support given for national professional qualifications.

We would welcome applications from experienced teachers but would also encourage applications from newly qualified teachers looking for their first appointment.

Visits to the academy are actively encouraged to allow you to appreciate the ethos and environment of the academy, prior to the closing date. Please contact the academy office on 01732 843047. Information can also be found via the academy website: www.moreparkprimary.co.uk

We look forward to welcoming you to our academy!

Information about the academy

More Park is a one form intake academy, with 30 children per class, each class teacher has a real opportunity to make an impact on the educational development and enthusiasm of a child's learning journey.

Set in a spacious and attractive semi- rural village location you will be able to utilise our surroundings, including our unique Forest School environment to inspire outdoor learning.

With close road and rail links, this enables quality enrichment activities for the benefit of all pupils as well as giving you an enviable location to explore London, Kent and Europe.

An academy with a close family and community feel, offering the choice of on-site school age childcare can also help with the challenge of being a working parent, giving you the chance to use all training opportunities as part of KCSP; with potential for work-shadowing and coaching.
