‘Striving for excellence in the Light of God’
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Northfleet is a unique ‘Outstanding’ school. We have Christ at the centre of everything we do, and everything we do is for our children.
We strive for our children to be happy, secure and successful people, who feel proud of their achievements - academically and personally. We want them to be proud of who they are as individuals, of each other and of their school. The only thing we ask of our children is that they are prepared to make the most of the opportunities and challenges provided for them.
The school is proud of the dedicated and caring team of staff who always go that extra step for the benefit of the children and make the school a happy, fun place to be where everyone feels like they belong.
The school achieves above Kent and nationally in all key stages, Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The curriculum has been devised to be extensive and cross-curricular. The school proudly displays evidence of children’s accomplishments in all curriculum subjects and when walking around the corridors you can hear the children’s achievements in singing and music. Our choir is outstanding, and has performed at St. George’s Cathedral, the O2 and Bluewater.
The school works to provide a wide range of after school activities that reflect the children’s interests. This includes, street dancing, rugby, art, computer, Creepy Crawlies, gardening, cricket, French, drama and football by professional FA coaches. The school seeks to constantly improve and increase after school provision to enhance the experiences of our children.
