Academy Performance (Primary)
Once again in 2018, KCSP academies have performed extremely well and we are happy to celebrate our primary results, which compare very favourably with national and Kent measures, according to the latest DfE performance tables. Overall, pupils in our academies have continued to do very well, as both progress measures and attainment demonstrate. Against a range of measures, KCSP pupils outperform pupils in Kent, London, the RSC area and nationally and we are rightly proud of their achievements.
The success of our academies has continued to be recognised by both Ofsted and Denominational Inspectors. Since November 2016, 14 KCSP academies have been re-inspected by Ofsted, with inspectors finding that standards in the vast majority are at least 'Good'. Six of our academies are judged to be 'Outstanding'. Nine academies have had their Denominational Inspections since the start of 2016 and all have been judged 'Good' or 'Outstanding', with inspectors praising the standard of Religious Education and the Catholic ethos they found.
The success we have seen in 2018, which built on that of the previous year, is due to the hard work and dedication of everyone who works in the Trust: our Executive and Academy Principals, Headteachers, leaders, staff, governors and the Trust’s Executive Team, including the School Improvement Advisers. We cannot forget our pupils and students, of course, who supported by their parents and carers, have worked hard to achieve such excellent outcomes. We look forward to 2019 being just as successful!
