Meet your Mental Health First Aiders
I have been teaching for 20 years. I have always been passionate about the pastoral care and the wellbeing of others and this has very much directed my career journey. I have been a Year Head for Years 9/10 /11, a head of 6th Form before joining a Leadership team and being a Head of House responsible for the vertical structure of year 7-13 form groups.
My Leadership role and Whole School responsibilities very much brings my core belief that if we get the wellbeing right for our students and staff then this in itself will have an impact on positive academic outcomes, as well as developing a student that is ready to face and contribute to society and the world of work.

I have been a team member at the Holy Family RCP School for 16 years. I was employed as a TA, I then trained to be a Higher Level TA. 5 years ago due to my own health reasons I became the office receptionist.
My passion and interest in becoming a Mental Health First Aider evolves from my own personal circumstances of workplace stress. My first-hand experience has led me in to wanting to be part of making the workplace a happy and safe environment for employees to come into to flourish every day.
