On Thursday 07 November, as part of the National Outdoor Learning day, St Margaret Clitherow Primary School in Tonbridge held a sponsored litter pick. 

To start the day off, the school attended an assembly from Danny and Jojo, 'Little Kickers' from another of the Trust's schools - St Gregory's Catholic Secondary School in nearby Tunbridge Wells. Danny and Jojo carried out the assembly to talk about their work with litter picking around their community.  Both boys were very inspirational and really encouraged the children at St Margaret's to go out and pick litter, with some of pupils asking parents and carers to purchase litter pickers. 

The school was also very lucky to have a number of helpers from Tonbridge Angels Academy Football Team join them as volunteers on the day. 

All children across the school went out during the day, to litter pick either on the school grounds or in our community, and so far they have raised an incredible total of £1500! A huge well done to all!
