We are incredibly proud to share the news that one of our Year 13 students, Lauren, at St Simon Stock Secondary in Maidstone, has been selected to have one of her photographs exhibited at the Turner Contemporary in Margate, as part of a Young Creatives exhibition. Another of the school's students, Joe, was also awarded highly commended for their entry!

The exhibition is open to any artist, filmmaker or creative under 25 in Kent - not just school students, so it really is an achievement for Lauren to be selected from amongst those in further education or working professionallm and offers a rare opportunity to exhibit work at the Turner Contemporary for a few months. 

This year’s theme is FORCE — inspired by the sea, Margate’s light, and the power of community.
