Overview
We wish to appoint an ambitious and forward-thinking Assistant Headteacher – Teaching Excellence & Professional Learning to join our senior leadership team and drive continuous improvement in the quality of education across the school. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership of teaching and learning, leading a robust quality assurance cycle and using evidence to inform school improvement and inspection readiness. They will design and deliver a high-quality, evidence-informed professional learning programme, including the development of Early Career Teachers, mentors and new staff, ensuring consistency and impact across departments. The role also includes leading on independent learning, homework and study skills, promoting effective learning habits and long-term knowledge retention.
