Attendance Officer
Overview
St Gregory's Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit an Attendance Officer who is able to multitask in a busy primary school situated in Margate. This is an exciting and fulfilling role for someone who is a 'people person'. You will be reporting to the Assistant Headteacher (SENCo).
Previous experience of working within a school environment is desirable, but not essential. You will need a 'can do' attitude, as well as be organised, reliable, able to prioritise work and follow instructions. This role requires a good level of knowledge and ability in using IT, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Teams), and ideally our management information system, SIMS (moving to Arbor by March 2026). You should be able to demonstrate your understanding, knowledge and prior experience within these areas. T

Contract: 15 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per annum), initially being offered on a fixed term until 31st August 2026 (pending a review of funding)
Salary FTE: £25,126 (Kent Scheme B); £8,650 pro rata; £13.02 per hour
