Teaching Assistant (Temporary Role)

Overview

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is an excellent school with a vibrant, supportive and friendly school community. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is dedicated to supporting children in their learning and is sympathetic to our Catholic values. The role is 20 hours per week (8.30am - 12.30pm Monday-Friday) and will include working with small groups and individuals within the classroom, carrying out interventions and a 30-minute lunchtime duty. This would initially be a temporary role until the end of the academic year (31st August 2026). Please read the Person Specifications carefully and make reference to them in your applications. Previous TA experience is not essential, training can be given; a good general level of education and personal qualities are as important as experience.
