St Joseph’s Broadstairs Marks the Start of Advent with a Joyful Celebration

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Broadstairs came together to celebrate the beginning of Advent with a beautiful Mass led by Parish Priest Father Daniel Weatherley. The service was a truly special occasion, with members of the school's Chaplaincy Team taking an active role in the readings and prayers.

In preparation for the season, each class created its own Advent wreath—a wonderful display of creativity and faith. Father Daniel blessed every wreath, reminding us of the significance of this sacred time. Two of the Chaplaincy Team members, Juno and Evie, served reverently as altar servers and lit the class Advent candles, symbolizing the light of hope and the call to prepare our hearts for the birth of Christ at Christmas.

This celebration was a meaningful start to Advent, bringing the school community together in prayer, reflection, and joy.
