Two inspirational pupils from Stella Maris Catholic Primary School in Folkestone spent part of their summer holiday taking on an incredible challenge to support a worthy cause.

The pupils successfully climbed Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, completing the ascent in an impressive 2 hours and 25 minutes. Their efforts were all in aid of Dementia UK, raising an outstanding £1,200 for the charity.

The challenge demonstrated remarkable determination, resilience and compassion, with the children choosing to dedicate their holiday time to helping others. Their fundraising achievement will help Dementia UK continue its vital work supporting families affected by dementia across the UK.
