Ursuline College students rescue Carla the bat!
Recently, some of our students at Ursuline College in Westgate on Sea helped to rescue a bat on the school site which they named Carlos. The bat was then picked up by volunteers from the Kent Bat Trust, who explained Carlos was in fact a Carla (1) and was extremely underweight. The Kent Bat Trust have now nursed Carla back to health and on the evening of Wednesda 19th March, volunteers released her back into the wild on the school site. In doing so, they found three other bats nesting in the area Carla was found!
What a wonderful site Ursuline College have!
