Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is at the heart of our vision, ethos and working practise. The Trust recognises that all our staff have a responsibility to safeguard children in accordance with the principles established by the Children Acts 1989 and 2004 and related guidance.
All employees, volunteers and governance committee members within the Trust have access to and receive regular training in relation to safeguarding and child protection. A copy of the Trust Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy can be located here.
A copy of the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education Guidance issued from the Department for Education, can be located here.
