St Joseph's, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in November 2021, is situated in a rural location serving the community of Aylesham and the surrounding villages, and places Jesus at the centre of all it does, says, and thinks.
St Joseph's has built a school community based on love, care and respect. The dedicated and committed staff at the school ensure all children are supported, nurtured and provided with an exciting and ambitious curriculum enriched with a range of experiences. Children are encouraged to learn both independently and as part of a team, becoming resilient learners, always keen to take on a challenge with a lifelong love of learning.
Although a small, one form entry school, children benefit from St Joseph's extensive grounds including a playground, field, pirate ship, and forest school area. Through its ‘Learning Together in Partnership’ program, the school enjoys close links with families, local parish, businesses and the community.
