After the success of our Inaugural Football Tournament, July saw the hugely successful 4th Annual athletics meets for primaries and secondaries on the 1st and 8th respectively.  Whether it’s the football World Cup for women or cricket for men, we see the power of sport in bring people together, crossing ‘white lines’ and demonstrating all of life’s lessons in microcosm: respect for one another, how to play fair, how to deal with winning, with losing, to go again, to be resilient, be part of a team.  So we see all that two, with teams of pupils from 24 academies, coming together, happy for themselves and each other, having fun and growing as people.
