St Augustine's Catholic Primary, Tunbridge Wells

Being a small, one form entry primary school in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, St Augustine's is very much the ‘village school in the heart of the town!’

The school has extensive, beautiful grounds, and its location enables pupils to easily walk to the town centre theatres, museums, and local swimming pool, as well as the nearby woodland for forest school sessions.

At St Augustine’s, the staff provide a safe and stimulating learning community in which children are able to learn, play, and grow academically, spiritually, and morally. The school has close links with its Parish church and the local community.

St Augustine’s is a rich and diverse community that aims to value each child for their unique gifts, skills, and talents, and the school appreciates that every child is different, and special in the eyes of God, no matter what their ethnicity, ability, or background.

The Governors and Staff strive to provide a learning environment that fosters positive attitudes to learning where the children feel valued, confident, and secure.

The school has high expectations and standards, which are combined with a sense of creativity, respect, and enjoyment, and all are firmly underpinned by the steadfast belief that the Gospel Values of Jesus Christ are at the centre of everything the school does.
