St Peter's Catholic Primary is rated as a 'Outstanding' academy (Ofsted 2010).
The Academy is a friendly, vibrant, happy place where everyone is valued. The Academy aims to ensure that everyone who comes through to the Academy experiences the warmth and love of Christ who is at the heat of all that they do. The unique worth of each child is celebrated and nurtured so that all children are empowered to fulfill their potential whatever their gifts or talents.
The Academy prepares children to enjoy life to the full; introducing them to many different, challenging and enjoyable experiences as possible. They seek to extend the learning environment beyond the classroom; offering a rich curriculum provision. The academy day is extended with a variety of clubs to suit everyone. Great importance is placed on Music and PE taking every opportunity to participate in both local and national events.
