On Friday 22nd November, the Year 6 class at Our Lady of Hartley Catholic Primary School in Hartley, performed an assembly focusing on Catholic Social Teaching which is at the heart of our Catholic faith and our school communities. Using parables, they illustrated the seven key principles: Human Dignity, Option for the Poor, Solidarity, The Common Good, Stewardship, Distributive Justice and Promoting Peace. They even created a peace flag which was raised at the end of the assembly for all to see.
