CPD and SCITT Lead

The Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative CPD and SCITT Lead for our growing organisation.

Please note: This is a fixed term role for 1-year commencing on 01 September 2024.

Purpose of role:

• To lead on the strategic development of CPD across the Trust’s primary and secondary schools
• To work with the central Trust team to review CPD needs in the light of the priorities identified in the Trust Business plan and school improvement priorities
• To set up and lead the Trust’s SCITT programme in both the primary and secondary phases and oversee the training and development of ECTs in liaison with the appropriate external bodies
• To direct and manage the work of the CPD/Training & Development Coordinator
